Why Have a Traveler's Teahouse Tasting?
Firstly, there are not many establishments that offer guided tea tastings by a certified Tea Specialist, let alone purveyors of authentic Nepali tea. This gourmet tea adds a unique touch to your event by introducing your guests to a lesser-known, but treasured, region of the world. Aside from bringing the exquisite flavors of the different tea terroirs to the palates of your esteemed guests, Traveler's Teahouse can bring the magic by incorporating divination of new and old, making the entire experience impactful. Tea tastings can include Tarot readings and tea leaf readings to maximize memorability for your gathering.

Pricing
Gatherings of more than 6 people will be subject to the tasting event pricing below. Tea tastings require a 1 hour minimum. Receive the second hour for 15% off! To schedule a tasting event, please complete the contact form below or email: Welcome@TravelersTeahouse.com.
The Sommelier Experience
An in-depth guided tasting that consists of up to 5 teas at a venue of your choosing. This may include sensory evaluations, cupping exercises, a short educational brief of the tea estates, and a mindfulness meditation that occurs before the tasting.
Tea Tasting & Tarot Readings
A continued tasting of up to 2 teas at a venue of your choosing. This includes an introductory meditation, followed by the tasting, and finishing with a 10-15min Tarot reading for each participant.

A continued tasting of up to 2 teas at a venue of your choosing. This includes an introductory meditation, followed by a tasting, and finishing with 10min tea leaf readings for each participant.
Tea List
Nepali Teas
All teas in this section are produced in the Western Ilam Region of Nepal. The estates are women-led and tended with great care. The terroir is quite misty and elevated, which results in pleasantly aromatic teas with delicate flavors.
Nepali Green
Aroma: Hazelnuts, walnuts, fresh rain
Taste: Floral, chrysanthemum, blackcurrant
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, mildly astringent
Nepali Oolong
Aroma: Dark chocolate cherries, raspberries
Taste: Licorice, peony, rose, with a honey-like finish
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, low astringency
Nepali Black
Aroma: Subtly nutmeg, malt
Taste: Mahogany & brown sugar
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, low astringency
Nepali Chai
Aroma: Cinnamon, clove, cardamom
Taste: Masala spices, ginger
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, mildly astringent
Lucknow Blend
Aroma: Spicy, allspice, wildflowers
Taste: Floral, allspice, toasted apples, basil
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, low-to-mild astringency
Ginger Turmeric
Aroma: Spicy, gingery
Taste: Balanced ginger & moderate earthy turmeric
Mouthfeel: Mild fierceness, pleasantly dusted
Pagoda Rose
Aroma: Rosy, floral, slightly spicy
Taste: Invigorating, pleasantly rosy, slight kick of ginger
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, low astringency
