Tea Leaf Readings

Tea Leaf Reading, otherwise known as Tasseomancy, became popularized in the 17th century in Greece, France, and the Middle East as tea imports became more widespread. However, reading leaves most likely dates farther back to early-Imperial China and monastic Tibet. As one of the oldest forms of divination, this modality is unique in that it engages your senses of taste and smell in an interactive way in order to divine answers to a particular question. You are, quite literally, absorbing the wisdom of the land while practicing serenity and mindfulness.

Tea leaves draw energy from the Earth as well as your auric field. Subsequent symbols in the cup are interpreted using intuition and a connection to the Divine. Other forms of divination, like Tarot, still use a medium of interpretation (i.e. cards), but it is not likely to be as interactive or even a grounding experience. 

As you sip on the tea in a relaxed state, you are simultaneously being grounded and reaching into the Divine with the help of the reader. Tea leaf readings are more appropriate for practical questions, such as specific energies regarding jobs, everyday decisions, and travel. However, there are no limits for divination.
